Handling all of my post-case notes, letters and other loose ends from court yesterday.

For my coffee breaks, I am setting up a very old (had not been powered on since 2014) Windows XP laptop with Linux Mint.

Waiting for our local Supermarket to open at 10am. My shopping is usually well organised, but as I am low on Bread I felt the urge to get another loaf, 'just in case'!

Resting. After having refitted the entirety of one WC yesterday, and having fitted a new syphon and connector kit to another today. Whew!

Sitting really still. I'm staying at my sister's place this weekend and we just had cheese fondue. We both ate too much and now have to take it easy for a while.

Cleaned Spot (the iRobot) after his yeoman's job in the bedroom; now he's in the master bath, cleaning up the cruft, before I Swiffer it.

Trying to figure out if fascia massage will work for RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome). Mine's gotten so severe now that I can't seem to defeat it with my old reliables (Niacin, not the no-flush kind, walking around). I've tried fascia massage previously, and it definitely works, but only for a few hours. There's some theory that it's not the calves that need the massage, but the hip flexors and the Iliopsoas area fascia. Trying to figure out the "right" way to lie on my roller. (sigh). When exercise lets you down on this, man...it's just miserable. I've basically been up for days. (This probably oughta go in the V&R forum,but I'm researching it, so...)

Scratching Luna's belly with a wooden back scratcher.

She loves belly rubs and scratches, but she has the tendency to grab your arm/hand with all of her very thin and very sharp nails. As a solution I got a wooden back scratcher and she loves it.

At night, when I'm watching TV or reading she often sleeps on my bed. When I get the back scratcher out she often rolls onto her back spread eagled.

My parents now want to get a couple of back scratchers, too. For the living room and for their bedroom.

Maru isn't impressed by the back scratcher and prefers being petted by hand. But then she hardly every scratches and when she bites she really careful not to bite too hard.

I've just ordered all the things I need for my next cross stitch project. I've gotten the pattern off Etsy, the first two projects were complete kits, so this is different. I've ordered the thread, the legend didn't say how much of each colour you need, so I probably ordered too much of most colours. I've gotten the Aida fabric and a couple of handy (I hope) tools.

With this project I'm going to figure out whether I prefer a printed pattern or have it on my tablet. And whether I like my pattern to be in colour or black and white.

I bought this pattern, my sister really liked it, so I'm giving it to her when I finish.
