The only change I've really noticed is that the scroll bar in Books, etc. has a up/down arrow which grays out when you are at the first or last page.

Oh, and a rather large chunk of the patches break. Such is life.

I haven't looked at it yet, but the ones with fixed offsets (i.e. 0x...) are expected to break each version (~8 patches IIRC). The others are usually fine.

Kobo firmware 4.23.15548 has been released. As of August 19, 2020, it has been released to the Kobo Touch A/B, Kobo Touch C, Kobo Glo, Kobo Glo HD, Kobo Touch 2.0, Kobo Aura, Kobo Aura HD, Kobo Aura H2O, Kobo Aura H2O Edition 2 v1, Kobo Aura H2O Edition 2 v2, Kobo Aura ONE, Kobo Aura ONE Limited Edition, Kobo Aura Edition 2 v1, Kobo Aura Edition 2 v2, Kobo Nia, Kobo Clara HD, Kobo Forma, and the Kobo Libra H2O. It has not been released to the Kobo Mini. The affiliates used to check these firmware versions were: kobo, bestbuyca, fnac, beta, rakutenbooks, and the walmartca.

Are those arrows for moving one page at a time? That would be good.

the short lived Firmware 4.23.15505 and now (hot off the press) Firmware 4.23.15548 both have the scrollbar, the scrollbar appears wider with this release which is good, but neither Firmware as far as i can tell will let me type in a page number and go directly to that page. i have 950 pages of books and before Firmware's 4.23.15505/4.23.15548 i could go to any of those pages easily. where now i have no way of knowing which page in my book list i'm on.

if Kobo have dropped the type in the page number you want to go to i can't understand why they'd do that.

The Page arrows are a good addition for devices without buttons. I think there's lots of space left beteen the drop down filters and the ... icon,, it would be a perfect place to replace the Page#

Unless I know exactly which page a book is on, in a larger library page numbers aren't that useful to me. I'm trying to get used to dragging the pill on the scroll bar while watching the popup to drop it approximately where I want to go and then using one page at a time. A jump ahead/back 10 pages would be handy but the number of us who have libraries that would benefit from that is very probably on the small side.

OTOH, I do miss typing in a random number to pick a random read.
