Why do you miss the horizontal swipes? They still work in exactly the same way as all previous firmware versions. Nothing has changed about swiping to turn the page in the various lists.

If you long press on a book on the home screen, one option is Remove which in turn gives you the option to just remove the book from the home screen.

Anyone else getting insanely good battery life with 15505? I installed it on my KA1 a few days ago and have done about 3-4 hours of reading (admittedly using KOReader) and it's still at 100%. Makes me wonder if it's not stuck there.

All in all I preferred the older firmware. I liked arrows, but now I sometimes open a book when I just want to scroll through the list page.

And then if we also consider the poor accuracy of the touch of the Aura One, the problem is even more serious.

Maybe it's more "cute", maybe you save a touch but it's less functional.

The current home screen shows me the books I am currently reading. So I just have to select the one I want. I don't need to dismiss anything in place of something I am not reading. Collections are no longer the same because of the new series tab.

For the tabbed home screen to work for more people, then they would have to totally redesign it.

Is it possible to have something else than 'discover' on the homescreens bottom line? Maybe 'activity'?

Apart from this, i can live with the new design. It isn't so bad.

excellent thank you. the last time i tried that it removed the book from the device. granted that was an earlier 4 Firmware version, i'm not sure which one it was.

all i need now is the option to be able to sort collections by recent like you can with authors/books

I hate the new firmware. Not easier to navigate. That slider thingy is so frustrating.

Well, yes. I'm one of those that misses the tiled homescreen. But if it were to be brought back, I'd assume it would be redesigned/updated.

At any rate, I like the newest home screen.
