Exclamation Not charging at all, help!!!
Yesterday I charged my Kobo H2O2 on a USB-DC adapter, then I changed to USB. But when I tried USB, it didn't work at all. Not a Computer Detected, or a charging icon!! So I switched back to DC...
and it didn't work at all.
My Kobo is at 20% Help!!!

Nope didn't work.
But when I plugged my original USB in it worked. I just have to press down on the MicroUSB a little. Seems to be charging port damage.

This is a common problem with older Kobos. I had two KA1s die because of this. If you can take your Kobo apart, you might be able to solder the USB port back onto the motherboard.

My kobo isn't that old... I haven't even had it for a year. And I don't know how to open it up, I posted in the dev corner.

My original H2O is almost 6 years old and the USB port has no problem. But I am very careful when plugging in the USB cable.

Careful there, partner. You may have just lucked out. I’ve seen far too many people with this complaint AND I’ve examined that 🤬 USB port from the inside and noticed how flimsy it is. My daughter exchanged her Clara twice before she got a model that has lasted her without loose USB port issues. It’s a finicky port prone to separation from the motherboard. I can’t for the life of me figure out why Kobo hasn’t secured it better. You’d think they’d get tired of all the returns.
