Update non compatible with win7?

Hello, while looking at uptading Calibre to be able to deal with a Kobo glo, I find out that the last version compatible with win7 (64bit) is 3.48.

What's the problem with the latest 4.22 version with win7?

Thanks

Later than 3.48 might work on some Win7, but often doesn't.

The version 4 series of Calibre does work on some Windows 7. It depends on the display driver. The only way to know if it will work on your system is to install it and try it. If it does nt work properly, you can always go back.

If you are on a laptop with dual video chip sets, you can try the other if the default one isn't working.
