Hi David,
I bricked my Kobo Aura One. In a different thread somebody reported the same issue with xcsoar on a Kobo Auro One.
Using an Aura H2O Image turned out to be working. Can you help?

The Aura H2O can be used to get the Aura (not extra bits in it's name), not the Aura ONE. The reason this can be done is that the Aura and Aura H2O uses similar hardware, and the Aura has an external SD card slot that the device can be booted from.

Could you send me an image. I will try boot from the sd-card slot.
As you already stated it shouldn't work but due the same experience as somebody with xcsoar stated before. I will give it a try and let you know about the result.

Sorry, but, I don't understand. You list your device as an "Aura ONE". In the previous post, you mentioned the Aura ONE more than once. The Aura ONE does not have an external SD slot. Have you gotten your Kobo model wrong?
