Unable to add pdfs after 4.2 update

After updating to 4.20 (and now 4.21), I am unable to add pdfs (or other non epub files) to calibre. I have temporarily solved this problem by reverting to 4.19, but obviously this is not very satisfactory. Am running on Windows 10.

You need to move your Calibre libraries out of the user directory. Your error is that you don't have permission. user is not a good place to store data.

JSWolf - thanks, solved my problem. Bizarre that this problem does not occur with version 4.19 or lower
