Losing "speaker"

Hello! I'm trying to convert an azw to epub. It's one of Plato's dialogues, so it has "speaker" markers at the beginning of each turn. But they are disappearing in the conversion (see attached).

Any advice appreciated, thanks!

If it's in the public domain, attach the azw file to your post here.

If it's not, create a private bug report at the calibre web site and attach the file there.

Follow-up: It looks like the speaker markers are there, just not displaying. Some kind of hanging indent is being used?

Attached is what the epub looks like in Adobe.

Thanks! I'll do that, although I'm not sure it's a bug--I think there must be a setting that needs tweeking.

Turn off the remove fake margins setting. That can sometimes mistakenly remove needed margins.
