If you are a very small and tiny person - not that there's anything wrong with that! - (think 'The Incredible Shrinking Man') and you owned both devices, you could hide in your pocketbook while reading on a nook.

If you have a Pocketbook you would not gravitate to a Kindle. You might install a Kindle app, but that's as far as it goes. If you have a nook, you'd be better off gravitating to a Kobo.

That's your opinion, not a fact. I don't use my readers in a cover, so I couldn't care less if the battery cover covered it or not, as I took the Oasis out of the cover for reading anyway. It was the best reader I've ever used in the ergonomical sense.

I would, it’d be nice to hide my collection of best ereaders from Jon’s prying eyes. The nook (to hide in), the pocketbook (to store supplies), the Kindle (to keep a fire going for warmth and cooking), and the Kobo to read on.

Yes, that's one big thing that makes nook less then best is availability. Outside the US, nook is not available.

I think you are thinking of closet, garage or storage locker. A nook is a nice, secluded place.

The last nook I had was used to put a desk and my desktop computer there. It was not used for reading.

The two best places at home for me to read is the reclining sofa or in bed with the two memory foam pillows behind my back. We have have a reclining armchair. But I don't really use that much as I have my stuff where I can get at it easily (enough) from the sofa. Plus, the lights in the room are all intelligent so I just have to speak to my iPhone or Alexa.
