There are no hostilities other than those started by a runaway country that sought to spend all of its funds on needless (and short term) toys and taxing the hell out of the population while culling the population to remove everyone not in their image. No shums or trolls.

We simply do not want to be there when it implodes. Currently, over 90% of its population is in the government. There is no one to fight or even defend the country save the Minister of Defense herself.

Actually, I heard of a case where someone reneged on a certified check. Just mentioning it.

As a Conscientious Objector and Diplomat at Large, may I ask, Wood, under what terms your country might be willing to discuss resuming normal diplomatic relations with Mobilita Republica?

From a philosophical point of view, I think this is actually a good thing. "Government of the people, by the people, and for the people," and all that.

The fiscal policy of the government in question, however, is another matter. I think my status as a Quaker means I have to be a Conscientious Objector to that, too.

(Not that I expect the government of Mobilita Republica to be any more responsive to those concerns than the physical nation I live in.)
