Accidentally chose the wrong language at install

And now even if I uninstall and reinstall calibre, it always goes back to the language that I do not understand. Thank you for any help - I am trying to re-run the welcome script, but I cannot find it because I do not understand the language. Thank you for any help, Theresa

If you can find the Preferences button (the Calibre icon style has a screwdriver and a wrench), you can click the little dropdown beside it. Welcome Wizard is the second option and has a little wizard wand as the icon.

If that doesn't work, something like Geek Uninstaller ought to get rid of any files the Calibre uninstaller leaves behind (including, hopefully, the language preferences) so you can do a complete clean install.

I've accidentally installed programs in the wrong language too. Don't feel bad.

I really appreciate your time and help - it took a long time to find the preferences button (it wasn't visible on the screen and I finally found it after messing around and then followed your steps below and it is now in English - thanks again, Theresa

Ctrl+P will pop the Preferences panel, see ==>> Keyboard shortcuts

Press Ctrl + P to enter Calibre preferences. Touch where the last left button, (in case you don't understand the language). Calibre goes off and a screen appears to choose the language, then accept and you already have Calibre in your language.
