Weird "Bug" - Empty Formats Columns

I am reluctant to call it a big, but I noticed that Calibre doesn't show the available formats in the appropriate column on the main interface. I nearly had a stroke, thinking I had lost my entire library! Thankfully, the books are intact!

I have removed and added the "Formats" column, but it remains as empty as the heads of some politicians I'm not prepare to name...

Does clicking the view button open the formats?

Yes, everything works as usual, just the column is empty!

Try removing it and creating a new one in Preferences->Add your own columns

Hi, Ive done that as per my original post, it still doesn't show any formats in the column.

removed and added it from the book list or from the database? And if the latter, what definition did you use for the column template?

Right clicked, Add your own column, unselected. Closed and restarted Calibre, Right clikcked, Add coulmn, Added Formats, Closed and restarted...

I just tried adding a Formats column using the Quick Create to create a Formats column. Added the column, restarted calibre and it worked. See attached images. Sadly, a rather boring set of formats.

You havent said what template the custom column you created for formats is using. And run calibre in debug mode by right clicking the prferences button and choosing restart in debug mode and post the debug log.
