Holmes on the Range is the first in the Holmes on the Range series by Steve Hockensmith. I read this a long time ago in DTB from the library and liked it, and also liked a couple of additional titles I've read in this series. It's a fun sort-of-pastiche series, and was a finalist for a bunch of "Best First" awards. It is free right now at both Kindle US and UK.

The Immaculate Deception is the seventh and last in the Jonathan Argyll/Flavia di Stefano series by Iain Pears, who is much better known, I think for his non-series title, An Instance of the Fingerpost. This is one of my top ten or fifteen favorite series, and I really really wish Pears would write some more of these. Deception has dropped to $0.99 at Kindle and Kobo US.

I haven't spotted any of the three titles in this omnibus on sale before, but YMMV - this isn't a series I really follow that closely. Wolf Rock

What I don't get is what the rubbish is Amazon uses after the ASIN if it's not part of an affiliate link. It doesn't need to be there and I always remove it when posting a link.
