Auto launching apps automatically on system startup?
Say I have a jailbroken paperwhite 4. I do so great.
Sometimes koreader crashes on big chunky files and the Kindle restarts. I don't blame koreader, I think it's amazing. But then I'll sometimes forget to start up syncthing when it restarts. And as soon as the kindle is started up, running syncthing, I'd like it to jump into koreader. Anyway to get this set up as default behavior? Or should I just do the 'hard work' of clicking a few buttons via KUAL on each startup? |

upstart emits an event when the framework has finished booting, that could arguably be used by a custom upstart job.
But, the fact that borking an upstart job essentially breaks the boot, which in turn trips the failure counters, makes the whole thing kind of a last resort idea unless you've got a really good reason. Last edited by NiLuJe; 05-11-2020 at 06:40 PM. |
