Two books are failing to convert entirely

Arilando Junior Member Posts: 7 Karma: 10 Join Date: Dec 2018 Device: PC	Two books are failing to convert entirely I have two books in EPUB format that i want to convert to PDF. Calibre is incapable of doing this, being stuck at 47% and then simply giving up. Converting them to other file formats also doesn't work. Trying to go into edit book and then clicking on check book also doesn't work, as it loads for a time and then simply closes the book down. What am i supposed to do?

We do not need to see the other thousand lines Memory error should be self explanatory, your device does not have enough ram to do the conversion. The reason why is in the previous post. You can forget about ever converting those 2 books.

The idiot who made these eBooks has no clue at all what to do and use Adobe InDesign and made them fixed layout. The only thing that might work is to try to contact the author and tell him that these books are fixed layout and they do not need to be and they are unreadable. Looking at the two books, they are epub3 fixed layout. Every bloody word is given an absolute position on the page. calibre's ebook viewer is unable to display the book properly. Sigil's preview or PageEdit can but that doesn't help with conversion.
