My data is automatically backed up every night including 4 daily 4 weekly and 3 monthly diffs on a datacenter server I own. And my calibre library (and other personal data) is autosynced between my two primary computers.

I suffer from duplicates occasionally, but I now just move everything into calibre (except for things purchased from Sony, which you can't) and let them store them in clumsy folders. I wish we could edit them and store them like mp3 files.
