Firmware 4.xx Inverted Screen and Developer Mode
The 4.xx firmware version has included a new Developer Mode with some interesting things, one of its the Inverted Screen Mode without patching the Firmware.

To enable Developer Settings, simply type "devmodeon" (without the double quotes) in the search bar of your Kobo device.
Then go to Settings > Device information > Developer Options > View.

From there, check the box that says "On" in the "Invert Screen" line and exit the menu. Night mode will be activated.

The Developer mode has been around for a long time. Possibly from when the firmware was first started. The Developer view was added in the early 4.x firmware and the invert screen option has been there for at least a year now. The only new thing with Developers mode in 4.20 is that when it is on, the games are visible in the Beta features for the newer devices. This has been discussed in several threads recently.

But the inverted screen on a menu inside Developer options has been there all time, i really have seen it on this version...

i have fixed it on the title of the thread.
