my goal is to have the latest firmware with jailbreak, obviously i will stay in airplane mode, so in case of any problems i will be able to return to the old basic firmware...

if I understand correctly it should be something feasible

A lot of people successful JB PW4 with fw>5.12.x, just one question, anyone tried use this way to JB KV or KOA? Does it work for KV and KOA?

My G000 PP12 was shipping with 5.11.2...has anyone successfully jailbroken one of these? I haven't seen any mentions of this specific firmware version in the thread. I've reset to factory settings and have tried to downgrade the firmware to 5.10.2 and 5.10.3 with no luck. I never connected the device to Wi-Fi so it never received an OTA update.

I don't care about being on the latest firmware I just want to be able to use Collections to organize my library without registering my Kindle.
