I should not have opened this thread. I only found about 10 of those I MUST HAVE! And they add more???!!! Dangerous... very dangerous...

I got mine and to my disappointment I've found that the cut-out was on the wrong side - thus the back sticker is now a promo

I've emailed decalgirl - hopefully this will be sorted out soon.

I just got an email from them that the issue has been resolved and they will be reshipping orders with the correct skin. i had just ordered after seeing this so thats good to know for everyone who bought one.

Yeah. But there's SO much to choose from! I had to put it off for later, I got quite overwhelmed

Glad to hear this as mine arrived back to front too

Just used the defective as a practice run. very disappointed in that it leaves a strip of metal visable on either side. This gives a horrid appearance. off and in to bin, replacement too if its the same.

The site says "Each Sony Digital Reader PRS-505 kit features a one-piece wrap-around design for maximum coverage and has preprinted icons on the skin."

Yet mine came as a two peice thing

I look forward to your review. One of the things I liked about these was that they're supposed to be one piece. What design did you order? I'm still thinking about the Zen Revisited design and I found a neat new design I may go for for my laptop- it's part of a new collection -- wolfram mathematica:

That is a neat design! I got the Orient skin. I might go for the monet one next time and am thinking about Renoir- Boating on the Seine for my iphone (well I haven't bought it yet but will be soon). I have always had a good experience with decalgirl so I am sure they will get the sony reader problem fixed.

I'm hoping to get one that's not too busy in a week or so for a silver reader - something to cut the glare.

I don't like busy designs either. I think I would find some things like flowers too distracting. I like art work ones- monet, etc that aren't really busy but do add some nice color.

The orient skin arrived today. Its a lovely design and definately not busy. They fixed whatever problem they were having. Mine arrived in a one piece design. Looks good. I did have some problems with bubbling as I was trying to wrap it around but got most of that worked out. That was mainly my fault due to never having put a one piece wrap around design on before so I am pleased with it. Way better than my experience with skinit. Any bubbling with the decalgirl was a small amount and really my fault .

Glad to hear it's all one piece. I may give in to my desires and order the Zen Revisited one for my Reader and the Dodecahedron Cage for my laptop. I was really dissatisfied with the Skinit on my Reader; after being really pleased with my laptop skins it was a real letdown.

Are you going to post pictures of your Reader in it's Orient skin?

Ok- here are some pictures of the skin. It wraps around and covers pretty well. There may be just a slight area of the silver still showing around the side but that may just be because I had some trouble with putting it on. Much better than the gap and the bubbling I experienced with skinit.

Now I suppose I will have to get one for my iphone that I will be getting tonite!

BTW I think it has been metioned before but this code- PSPHOME you can use to save 15%. I have used it every time with them. It never seems to expire.
