				importing azw format

I have a Kindle file that is a paper size file format but when it imports it's cutting pages off to a tablet size. Is there a way to fix this?

![]() Calibe scales pages when the selected output device is smaller. Preferences: Common options: Page setup (on sidebar): TABLET << does not resize large images THIS AFFECTS FUTURE: DEFAULT, 1st time conversions. The converted books remember the setting that was used. If you have converted : There is a Tick or Button (depends if single or bulk) on the Conversion screen OR You can leave the Default (above) alone and make a similar setting on the conversion start dialog (good for when you wish to override your default. Again, this setting will be saved for THIS BOOK only) |

Yeah I have played with the settings but I think its because the original kindle file is geared for a large workbook size page (roughly 10x12ish). So when it goes into calibre it is not reducing page size to fit the output. Instead it's splitting the page across 4 pages similar to poster printing. Just frustrating... lol

If it came from a download with a Kindle for PC app, then it will have a .azw extension even if it's not in Mobi format.
