Split at Cursor sometimes inserts multiple pages??

			Hi,

I've used Sigil quite a bit in the past and have updated to the latest version which is really good. One thing that is a bit odd is that sometimes when I press <ctrl><enter> to get a new page (aka 'split at cursor') it gives me anywhere from one to five new pages. The expected behaviour would be to get one page at a time. Does anyone know how to ensure that multiple pages are not created? It's not the end of the world but it would be nice to understand why sometimes I get more than one page. Thanks in advance Dzeni |

Yes, this bug was already reported in the Sigil 1.0 Released thread, and already fixed in master. The fix will be in next release.

In the mean time, you should be able to work around the problem by making sure the file you're splitting is the only tab currently open.

And if you have to close already opened tab. Please click on the tab you want to delete to bring it up (to make it the active tab) first, *before* closing it.

Thanks for the additional hints. I managed to complete the ePub without too much fuss. Knowing that a given behaviour is a but was helpful as it meant not needing to worry about trying to fix it.

Closing and opening tabs has never been a problem as if one closes a tab in error, it is easy enough to re-open it by clicking on the section name on the left hand side.

Unfortunately, closing a non-active tab is what triggers the creation of multiple pages bug. Always making the tab you want to close the active/current tab before closing it prevents the bug from happening. Again, all of this is already fixed in master and will be in the next release.
