Looks like there's about 6 (?) Robert B. Parker ebook titles from Kobo.uk available on sale for £0.99.

The Reckoning, also translated as The Vortex, is the second in the Freyja/Huldar Children's House series by Yrsa Sigurdardottir.

It has dropped to $2.99 in the US and £0.99 in the UK (a lot less, if you live in the UK or can travel).

Kindle US: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DZZ64L3
Kobo US: https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/the-reckoning-135
Kindle UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Reckoning-C...dp/B072F25K4R/

Spoiler:
Quote:
The Reckoning is the stunning follow-up to The Legacy, which was the start of a thrilling new series that Booklist (starred) recommends for fans of Tana French.

Vaka sits, regretting her choice of coat, on the cold steps of her new school. Her father appears to have forgotten to pick her up, her mother has forgotten to give her this week’s pocket money, and the school is already locked for the day. Grownups, she decides, are useless.

With no way to call home, she resigns herself to waiting on the steps until her father remembers her. When a girl approaches, Vaka recognizes her immediately from class, and from her unusual appearance: two of her fingers are missing. The girl lives at the back of the school, on the other side of a high fence, and Vaka asks to call her father from the girl's house. That afternoon is the last time anyone sees Vaka.

Detective Huldar and child psychologist Freyja are called in. Soon, they find themselves at the heart of another shocking case.

From the international number one-bestselling author of The Silence of the Sea, winner of the 2015 Petrona Award for Best Scandinavian Crime Novel Yrsa Sigurdardottir returns with the follow-up to The Legacy.

Some price drops at Kindle UK, probably mostly due to the new monthly sale, all at £0.99 each, unless otherwise indicated.

The Allingham Minibus: Short mysteries perfect for the festive season, by Margery Allingham (I got to read an ARC of this, and although I liked most of the stories, I'm not sure I'd call this "perfect for the festive season" unless the "festive season" under discussion is Halloween - most of these are sort of ghost/macabre stories, and not very festive. Of course, YMMV...): https://www.amazon.co.uk/Allingham-M...dp/B07Y22P76Z/

The third title in this series, The Fleur de Sel Murders, has dropped to $2.99 at Kindle and Kobo US. I've read and liked the first two in this series, and also the upcoming Feb 2020 title, A Killing Tide, which I got to read as an ARC. But I am a bit biased since I'm quite fond of mysteries set in France...

Bonefire of the Vanities is the 12th in the Sarah Booth Delaney series by Carolyn Haines. Books in this series don't go on sale very often, so grab it if you want it. I quite enjoyed the early titles in this series in DTB, but sort of lost track of the series after I started reading ebooks almost exclusively. Still, I'm happy to see this one at $2.99, and it will be pretty high up on my TBR list.

Kindle US: https://www.amazon.com/Bonefire-Vani...dp/B007NK5EYC/
Kobo US: https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/bon...f-the-vanities

Spoiler:
Quote:
Despite the wishes of her overprotective fiancé, Sarah Booth Delaney can't give up her detective work, no matter how dangerous it becomes. It's too much a part of her. On this case, avoiding danger might be impossible—she's on the trail of a porn-star-turned-psychic operating from a haunted estate on the edge of town. Medium Sherry Cameron promises to reunite grieving family members with their dearly departed, but it seems vaguely suspicious that Sherry will only accept emotionally vulnerable and tremendously wealthy clients. Aging billionaire Marjorie Littlefield fits the profile perfectly—her daughter died in a tragic accident as a young girl, she's been estranged from her son for decades, and she's planning to leave her considerable inheritance to her cat.

Convinced she's uncovered a scheme to separate a lonely woman from her fortune, Sarah Booth talks her way onto the estate as a maid, where she finds Marjorie and several other wealthy eccentrics ready to commune with the dead. Between chores, Sarah Booth explores the estate, mingles with the other staff…and finds a few dead bodies. But which guest or staff member might be the killer? Even Jitty, Sarah Booth's personal haint, won't tell until Sarah Booth has uncovered all of Sherry's well-kept secrets.

With spooks and charlatans around every corner, Sarah Booth is the only PI in the southlands who can put an end to this elaborate scam in Bonefire of the Vanities, the charming twelfth entry in Carolyn Haines's sparkling series.

Follow That Gun (Keith Calder Book 23) … by Gerald Hammond

For many years Keith Calder has been making lucrative sales of his antique guns to Mr Foster, an agent for major collectors. However, Keith’s daughter Deborah is suspicious of the buyer. Why does he always pay such large sums in cash? Why does his car have fake number plates? When it turns out Foster was running a money-laundering scam, they tell the police, and Foster’s cover is blown.

When only a few weeks later a raid on the Calder home leaves Keith and his brother-in-law Ronnie in hospital, and the family’s valuable gunroom empty, it’s clear who’s to blame. So it’s up to Deborah, with her husband Detective Inspector Ian Fellowes, to follow the trail to the guns – and to a ruthless man who will stop at nothing. Not even murder

Only Good Yankee is the second in Jeff Abbott's short 4-book Jordan Poteet series. It has dropped to $1.99 at Kindle and Kobo US. Per SYKM, the first book in this series, Do Unto Others, won a couple of "Best First Book" awards.

Spoiler:
Quote:
Mirabeau, Texas, is a dynamite little town -- especially when toolsheds, doghouses, and mailboxes mysteriously begin to explode. So far, the sole victim is local librarian Jordan Poteet, struck by a chunk of his girlfriend's mailbox. Yet Jordy gets an even bigger jolt when his ex-girlfriend, Lorna, arrives from Boston. She's come to scoop up everybody's riverfront property -- and, if possible, Jordy as well.

With pro-development folk and die-hard environmentalists all foaming at the mouth, tempers become downright murderous. And the unfortunate victim is Lorna's handsome colleague, garroted with a piece of barbed wire at the Mirabeau B&B.

Dynamite, lust, murder...what next? Mirabeau braces for the worst and gets it -- while Jordy, his true love Candace, and Police Chief Junebug Moncrief light out after a killer...

Agatha Award-winning author of Do Unto Others.
