Creating a book list from Calibre

I thought I used to be able to open Calibre, run a saved search to get the books currently on my tablet for reading, and export that information to a csv file. I can't find that option any more.

Can someone tell me how, in the current version of Calibre, to create a file with a text (or csv) list of books?

Thanks. If I don't do this for a while, I do it WRONG EVERY TIME. I keep looking in the Library heading and never remember it's over in the Convert books.

Thanks again.

Very handy, thanks...

I"ll just have to remember that "Create catalog" doesn't do what I think of as creating a catalog. It lets me export the Calibre database/catalog content to a flat file.

Yes it CAN.
Look at the options on that page. CSV is one. XML is another.
The other tab controls what might be included.

And for the fussy There is the CLI : calibredb --list

I think of a Catalogue as something retailers shove in my mail box to be thrown into the bin, puzzles me why they can't throw it into their own bin.

In this instance the French word: Catalogue, was probably regarded as infinitely more erudite than the English term: Book List.
