Creating a book list from Calibre
I thought I used to be able to open Calibre, run a saved search to get the books currently on my tablet for reading, and export that information to a csv file. I can't find that option any more.
Can someone tell me how, in the current version of Calibre, to create a file with a text (or csv) list of books? |

Thanks. If I don't do this for a while, I do it WRONG EVERY TIME. I keep looking in the Library heading and never remember it's over in the Convert books.
Thanks again. |

Very handy, thanks...
I"ll just have to remember that "Create catalog" doesn't do what I think of as creating a catalog. It lets me export the Calibre database/catalog content to a flat file. |

Look at the options on that page. CSV is one. XML is another. The other tab controls what might be included. And for the fussy ![]() |

In this instance the French word: Catalogue, was probably regarded as infinitely more erudite than the English term: Book List. BR ![]() |
