I am escaping as well. 20 minutes from now I will be on the I-5 headed south to California in an incredibly overstuffed mini-van complete with 190 lb dog and 5 lb kitten. Not sure if I will have connectivity at the hotel tonight.

Okay, for those of us on the other side of the pond who aren't acquainted with your local geographical place names and locations, do tell . . . WHERE YA GOIN'? Nice! The IoW has some seriously posh vacation homes! (I saw 'em on TV on HDnet channel, a series called "Flying over the world's coastlines, but not exactly that.)

And as for you Kris, you drive safely, please. I'm excited for you as you make this final leg of your trip to your new life!
