I really enjoyed Storm Front. I'm quite happy to spend $0.99CDN to have it in epub. My goal is to eventually scrape together enough money to get the whole series in epub, but that can wait.

Harry Dresden is a great character from the get-go, imho, and Butcher gets stronger with every book.

Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C. Clarke is $1.99 at Amazon US.

Artie Clarke's books go on sale pretty often, but Rama is one of his best. Up there with Childhood's End and 2001.

There seem to be quite a few Gollancz books at £1.99, presumably to tie in with their GollancFest that's running at the moment. From my wishlists there was:

Empire of Silence - Christopher Ruocchio
Swordspoint - Ellen Kushner
By the Pricking of Her Thumb - Adam Roberts

I haven't seen an official list anywhere.

There's also a free sampler containing extracts from several books.
