A Case of Bier is the 31st (I'm trusting the blurb) and most recent (2019) in Mary Daheim's Bed-and-Breakfast series. It has dropped to £2.49 at Kindle UK. Not a bad sale price for a most-recent-in-series, and Daheim's titles don't go on sale much either.

This is highly unusual for a mainstream Simon & Schuster title to be totally free, so I'm wondering if it's a pricing error. (It has been on sale before, just not free...) Anyway, I'd jump on it if you think you might ever want it!

I've not read the book, but very much enjoyed the movie.

Over on the audiobook thread, which I only occasionally look at, @tubemonkey posted six free audiobooks of titles by Blake Pierce, all mysteries, all first-in-series. The interesting thing is that the corresponding e-books are also free - you just have to click on the format button for "Kindle" instead of "audiobook".

As far as self-pub, I'm not familiar with Blake Pierce, who doesn't show up in SYKM either, but if @tubemonkey posted his stuff in audiobooks <grin>, I figure someone here might be interested too.
