Speaking of the bridge/hotfix, you shouldn't ever need to reinstall it, unless you want to make extra sure it's got its hooks set in right before and/or after doing a severely destructive manipulation, like a factory reset. But, technically, if nothing untoward ever happened to your device, this shouldn't be needed, it's just a precaution.

I also tried it for the same reason, unfortunately without any result.
I really hope that the jailbreak is not lost...

The bridge should restore ;log functionality, unless you have a tremendously old bridge version (or did a factory reset somewhere along the line).

Other than that, a cursory glance at the FW didn't reveal anything eviler than usual.

TL;DR: Wait for the next round of snapshots. Possibly later this week-end.

I did not do a factory reset, and the bridge version was the latest.
However, I tried to install this version:

There was no error during installation, but I still could not use ;log mrpi.

I hope this is not the case when the functionality can not be restored)

Hi, NiLuJe, thanks for your works. I installed the latest hotfix but Kindle showed Update Error 007. Same as Schattenjager, I didn't do a factory reset and always using the latest hotfix (also other packages). Here is my system log, Does jailbreak survive? Could you please help me to check it? Define "latest", because I updated them a couple hours ago, and I don't see anything newer than 2 days ago in your logs (except for an actual ninja OTA Amazon sent your way very recently...).
