Thanks guys. it looks a lot better now. Previously I had used the 'Set reading footer height' in libnickel and didn't care for the results (the bar got smaller, but I didn't see more text on the screen).

Incidentally, I turned the header off. I have no problem remembering what book I'm reading. It does look like the header and footer are more useful in the 4.16 firmware on the Libra H2O
