Well, I'm not sure if this is the final week or not. This program is no longer called Aaptiv Fitness Programs. The link takes you to Guided Meditation & Fitness Programs and says nothing about expiring. The old FAQ is still up and does show an expiration date. I'll give Audible a call in the morning.

I think that I'm going to start a fitness program, and call it "Apathy Fitness." People might get the name mixed up with Aaptiv Fitness, and I'll get some free name recognition! This program, however, will be for people who have no interest in fitness. You won't feel better, gain muscle tone, lose weight, and all those things, but you'll feel better about yourself. After all, you're in a fitness program, aren't you?

It's 12:38 a.m. Saturday Eastern Time (U.S.). The Rebel Yell is still $4.99, but now it's based on you getting a membership with eStories (current promotion: half off for 3 months), though, now.

Reviews at GoodReads are stratospheric for the book, especially considering how penurious their people are about giving high ratings to anything. I'd love to have the audiobook. It's just short of 25 hours long.

Regarding the TED audiobook, you can listen to it in 15-20 minutes.

Truth to tell, it's about 7 and 1/2 hours long (the talks themselves are 15-20 minutes).

Blast It! It looked like the price was tied to the membership, but it wasn't! I would have loved to have had that audiobook!

Well, eStories, that's one sell, at least, that you lost for having unclear advertising.

There are two buttons: the membership button, and a "buy now" option. The second is the one you want. For me it the button to the right.

Yes, I bought today's book. I tested the "Buy Now" button, and it gave me the standard kind of product webpage. I'll know from now on.

I am sensitive to context. Maybe too much. Maybe more than others who post in this subforum. Sometimes it serves me extremely well; at other times, like with this eStories offer, it doesn't serve me well.

Oh, as far as Rebel Yell, the day before yesterday's eStories special, is concerned, I just might have to give in and use the one credit (I'm assuming that it's just one credit--the retail price on it is very high) that I have at Audible. I'll be getting new credit on September 14.

Or, maybe I'll just wait around until it's offered at eStories again, or somewhere else. That might be a while, but I've terabytes upon terabytes in audiobooks now that I haven't listened to, but want to. And there is getting to be a lot of streaming stuff, especially podcasts, that I'd like to listen to, also.

Maybe I need to go into long haul trucking for a while so that I will have some time to get a lot of listening in.

What I most need to do is to check the two library systems where I have borrowing privileges, and quit buying audiobooks except on rare occasions. In fact, I think that I'm going to check them for Rebel Yell in just a few minutes.
