Scott seems to have tinkered with a number of his books with the move from Pinnacle to self publishing. The Manor became Creative Spirit, They Hunger became The Gorge and (the one I can't figure out) The Farm seems to have become a trilogy called Solom. I think The Farm is Solom 1: The Scarecrow.

For me, he's just an OK writer, who sometimes writes very interesting books.

I do, however, respect his drive and ambition.

When the Watcher Shakes by Timothy G. Huguenin is $0.99 at Amazon.

It's the author's first novel (though he's since published a second and various shorts), so keep that in mind.

I haven't read it yet, but it seems to have a similar vibe to Harvest Home or The Wicker Man, so I gave it a chance.

Lansdale is a very talented author, but his books and stories are always a little off. If you ever saw the fun Bruce Campbell movie Bubba Ho-Tep, that was a Lansdale story.
