That's what I've picked up based on: (1) the large number of videos on YouTube that show how vinyl is making a comeback, and (2) I stopped by my Barnes & Nobel and the number of vinyl racks keep increasing while the number of CD racks has decreased (and many of the slots in the rack are only half full).

I haven't purchased any vinyl recently because I'm fine with CDs and downloads. Plus, I remember having to use vinyl...and I don't remember it fondly.

Not going back win!

To each their own, I keep my vinyl clean and it sounds great, I like being able to hold the music in my hands and look at the cover art, as well as any additional materials that come with the record.

I don't expect cassettes to come back in the same way as vinyl, because vinyl appeals to audiophiles whereas cassettes aren't as high quality, and although portable, digital media is much more portable. Just like the win!

My understanding is that most if not all of those turn tables are unfortunately based on low end mechanisms which have a lot of tracking force though. (Meanwhile retro tape decks are literally all based on the exact same budget mechanism that just happened to survive from the 80s)
