IMHO, the ESV is the best translation out there. Take advantage of this offer even if you only occasionally reference the bible.

I was happy to see Amazon put this up as my last good bible was trapped in mobipocket.com purgatory. Now if I could just find a good Quran to replace the one trapped over in mobipocket.com as well...

Not a translation I'm too hot for (I vastly prefer the NRSV) but I don't like the ASV much either and I have it, too :Grins: More the merrier.

I agree this is the best translation - or at least it has overtaken the NASB as my personal preference. I wish they would make this available for the Sony readers.
