I am a lifelong avid reader. I purchased my kindle1 back in October and I never leave home without it. I hope to learn a few things from all of you on this website.

I like to read anything but SciFi and Horror books. I love a good book recommendation from people who loved a book. I just finished The Art of Racing in the Rain.

Welcome, girlygirl. Check out Baen for SF/F & be sure to look at their free library. All of their books are DRM free and reasonably priced.

How was The Art of Racing in the Rain? I just got it but haven't read it yet.

It was a really good book written from a dog's point of view. It's very sad and will probably make you cry!

I read it about 4 months ago. It was a very good book. It is very sad in some places but the ending is worthwhile.
