So today my delivery date has gone from July 31 to August 21 to August 12.

Hrmmm not sure I’d cal it amazing but it does seem to be an improvement on the original... it’s hard to tell to be honest... could be like splitting straws...

Stock problems must be un the USA, because in Europe it says "on stock" for all European shops.

Perhaps they lost a container or something like that.

If I place an order within the next 10 hrs through Amazon Spain I'll get it tomorrow, but still undecided as I'm hopeful Amazon will release one with a bigger screen next year "finger's crossed".

I ordered a 32G kindle with Wi-Fi and 3G.
It may be that some configurations are more popular than they expected plus I didn't order mine until July 21.

Well the 8gb version still available. I'm surprised so many buy the 32gb.....if it were an 8" screen i could see it. But comics kinda suck on a 7" screen...

I got my KO3 this week, and this is my first time with an Oasis which arrived in flawless condition— one of the most evenly lit screens I've ever seen and really good battery usage so far, but won't shout for victory until i run through a few cycles first).

While I love the device, as it has been quite an upgrade for me on almost every level, I do have a burning question. i thought by rotating the device, I could go into landscape mode, but all it does is become right-side up in vertical mode (I don't know if I said that right); can anyone tell me if i am missing something in getting my device to auto rotate to landscape. Thanks.

If it is like the KOA2, you have to be in a book, tap the top of the screen, tap Aa (display),
tap PAGE, select orientation, grumble to yourself (optional).

Manga is more than fine on 7". I think that's actually right around the size of bunkoban.

Then again, I'm fine reading manga on 6" ereaders.

I have a Theme for Landscape. Makes it a little quicker to switch.

I broke my Voyage today (very sad; rolled over onto it in bed, somehow this time it died). I have two new paperwhite 4 waiting for me at home, but based on reviews they might not be as nice the voyage, so I figured I'd get an Oasis 3 as well (plus, I can get it shipped to me faster than I'll be home; multi-month international travel is complicated). Forced to use the app on an iPad until then (which is nice except for weight and battery and waterproof).

Tempted to either try to fix the Voyage, or to buy a replacement refurb. I've got one of virtually every other kindle except the first one, although the batteries are likely dead in some by now.

I ordered the amazon fabric/waterproof case, too.
