can someone help me to convert a german dictionary? It is in mobi-Format.

The process described here is very complex and I am a windows user.

Your help is so great, that I don't expect support

Just some question that you can answer or not, I am satisfied

-In my kobo the size of the dictionary is still 4.7 Mb, but the file that I have copied, renamed is about 17 Mb.

-Sometimes I see directly the meaning of a word, but other times it shows me something like "Das von Ihnen gesuchte Begriff konnte nicht im Duden Wörterbuch gefunden werden" and one line under there is the right explanation of the word.

-And everytime there shows only "Duden Wörterbuch" and never "Wahrig".

But the results are fabulous, now I have a ebook-reader with a dictionary like it should be. Thanks a lot again, even if you don't answer

I have combined two dictionaries into one file, and the search goes immediately in 2 dictionaries.

You can try these dictionaries separately, I posted them. And leave the one that suits you best. I assume that a large part of the words are simply duplicated there.

And I do not have books in German, I can not check what is there and how

I've been looking for a long time for an Italian etymological dictionary, I use goldendict on android (the supported format are: .dsl(.dz) .lsd; .lsa .dat; .bgl; .ld2; .ifo .dict(.dz/.gz) .idx(.gz) .syn.(gz); .index/.dict(.dz); .aff/.dic), on the net I found one for macos ( 38mb http://rssmac.altervista.org/downloa...dictionary.zip ) but I don't know what format it is. Would anyone like to take a look at it?
I don't recognize any compatible format among those in the archive: (.DS_Store; .data; .css; .index; .plist; ._Contents; .dictionary)

In the meantime I have found this program but at the end of the conversion both .xml and .db is empty.

I tried the script in python and this made me suspect that the dictionary file has some problems (but it's just a superficial deduction).

Hi. I'd like to create a Japanese-English dictionary. From what I can see, one is not already available here. Looking at the instructions, there is a Windows excitable file and I use Mac OS.

Is there a work around for Mac users? Or does anyone know of an existing Japanese-English dictionary?

I did several conversion test converting dictionary en-(ar,he,zh) and several character of the second language (ar,he,zh) aren't shown in the final kobodictionary on the device. What can I do?

Moreover py glossary doesn't convert an en-ar tabfile dictionary to stardict
