It shouldn't have (at least the one inside the package). I use 7-zip and extracted files have the correct line endings. Whatever program you used to extract is changing the line termination upon extraction.

Thanks for the suggestions; for the record I used winzip. Once this option is deselected

it doesn't convert to CR+LF anymore and all is good.

Well, that one's easy : that's not the latest hotfix package, so it didn't support 5.12 .

No idea why ;dm is borked, unless something was done to the scripts and because they're sane in the original FW packages...

The MRPI version is correct, though (the package gets the highest revision of *anything* MRPI-related, while the script only picks up its own highest revision).

Realized I had not updated the MRPI installer and first ran that install. Then tried to install the Python update and again my screen is stuck on "Done, restarting UI... I am sure it has the same failure of not having enough space.

@hius07: Yep, it hasn't changed in quite a while. The first showlog command is the relevant one here, so I have no idea why something else would happen :/.

EDIT: Unless the showlog script itself has been neutered, which was popular at one point with the "privacy" related mods...

@radamo: Same answer as usual: I need to see MRPI & system logs .

I just would like to note that I had no problem installing the hotfix after updating to the latest firmware my PW4.
What I did was (somehow redundant I suspect, but better safe than sorry):

Apply the latest bridge patch
Copy the new mrpi extension
Apply the new firmware
Apply the hotfix
Reinstall all the hacks

No issue at all on PW4
