I believe the files downloaded without a file extension, but all I had to do was add .mp3 and they opened just fine when transferred to my mp3 player.

When I tried using a newer version of the app, the downloaded files were DRMed and could only be played in the app.

You can probably find the older version by Googling, and then try downloading a free or sample book from Kobo to see if it still works.

Thanks for posting. This offer is very restrictive. No discount on the membership itself. Instead you get a voucher forcing you to purchase additional content or you lose the voucher.

The voucher has a very short expiration date. You must redeem the voucher within 14 days of receipt and spend the voucher within 14 days of redemption.

So no saving it for future daily deals or promos.

I'm guessing no, but it really depends on how Audible defines "next listens" and "Audible content" and "audio products".

Yes, but I could add on a month or two if it would work this way. Worth asking them, I guess, depending what would give the best value: extending membership, buying extra credits or buying content directly.
