I'm preparing for a typical Monday errands run with my father. It'll be a short trip; to the Staples and a supplier nearby and maybe a supermarket. Usually we won't leave until 1 to 2pm, but my father has to help prepare my uncle's new apartment for moving in this afternoon. I like going early, that way I have the afternoon to do whatever I want, which is probably going to be rearranging my jewelry making stash (I'm expecting some more storage containers this afternoon) and some reading.

My father helped with the electrics; move some sockets, changing them to the colour my uncle prefers and hanging the light fixtures. My uncle was supposed to move today, but the movers were double booked, so he's moving on Thursday. I'm relieved that he's moving. The house was too big and too much work for him. He's had some near misses on the stairs. His new place got an alarm system and they often organize things for the residents. I hope this change will do him good, less stressing about the house and garden.

Sounds like a good change, Rumpel. I'm glad he got an opening there.

Best of luck to your uncle, Rumpelteazer. Just from what I've read here it sounds like a good fit.

Thinking of trying out CBD eczema cream. Warmer weather means flare-ups for me and I'd rather not use steroid creme if I can help it. In winter Lush's Dream Cream works great, especially in combination with L'Occitane's shower oil. But not so much in summer. A jar of CDB eczema cream isn't cheap, so I've been on the fence for a while, but I'm having a flare up after the warm days recently, so I'm thinking it's time for a trip to the CBD store across the canal. |

But it works! I had a flare up on the back of one of my hands and I applied some cream. Within an hour it looked better. It hasn't completely disappeared but it does better than the steroid cream I get from the doctor (which works okay for most of my body, but does nothing for the eczema on my hands and feet). I'll see how it goes and if I've gone through the two tubes I might invest in the special CBD eczema cream, or not, if this one works good enough.

Watching the first film in The Matrix trilogy. It's been years since I've watched them. The first dvd I bought was the first of the trilogy.

Regarding eczema, I feel your pain Rumple, sort of, my right hand's been having a psoriasis flareup on my right hand that's been in various states of dry and cracked for about a month.
