New "Mars" device from Likebook?

I see most of you use Moon+Reader, i suggest to show to the developer with a thread how many people use it, he usually replies, and we could suggest him some features optimized for eink.

My problems?
the kindle app that come in the inbuilt play store looks dodgy to me, I am afraid to give the password, did you find a way (apart calibre plugins)?

Most important with moon reader I get everytime I made an highlight a disturbing message that you do not have write permissions, so moon reader asks to load the book on the main memory.
I have 128G external sd full of book and would love to work my highlights on the external memory.

Which workaround do you use on this point?

I personally make the highlights of the PDF in reflow mode, but there are some PDF i need to highlight from the main page because i lose the format otherwise in reflow mode.

Update the Kindle app in the Google Play Store.

I don't use PDFs, but highlighting works for epub. I was able to see the underline in another device. I think for epub Moon+ puts the highlights in Dropbox or Google drive when you sync.

Decided to order a Mars today to replace my old H2O. What reader app you guys recommend? I've seen Koreader and Moon+ Reader mentioned, anything else worth considering?

Also thinking of using it to read manga occasionally, I have an app I always liked on my tablet called Perfect Viewer that works well for this but how's it translate to the e-ink screen? Only thing I can think that might screw it up is the page turn animations but gotta check if those can be disabled somehow.

ComicScreen is the best and I've tried them all; runs super fast (and stable) compared to the others

I use Librera (in fact, I got the pro version). Very happy with that.

I use Moon+ Reader and it works well. But I'm probably going to be switching to BookFusion eventually because their Highlights, etc. syncing works way better (eg, it can intelligently handle being offline, and then syncs the data whenever you get online, even if the app is closed). I've had some conversations with BookFusion support (not because of bugs, but to ask them some questions) and it sounds like they're aiming for feature parity with apps like Moon+ Reader and also improved eInk support, like disabling animations (they told me they already have some Likebook Mars users).

I updated mine too this morning (based in EU). Do you know where I can find the changelog again (it was in Chinese, but I dont mind using the translate option).

No, i donot know, but i could see update for 7 apps - which, i dont know

Just did the update. For Nook app users this is really bad. Used to be able to use an old version of the app, but now it won’t work, doesn’t crash but won’t sync my library.
And the newest version of the app won’t work at all either!
Very disappointing.

Is the Nook app fully working for anyone after the update? The update did let me get the Nook app started. I saw the animation, signed in, and saw my library. But when I tapped on a book, the screen went black, and the book didn't appear.

I didn’t get that far. It complained about no credit card then couldn’t connect to my profile, then a blank white screen. That’s on the current version of Nook.

The older version would seem to run but claimed my library had nothing in it. Checked on my iPad and all was fine with my library.
