Need for a developer to write a plugin

Hello dears,

I need a professional developer, that can write for me a plugin which includes the following functions:


1) Change the page progression direction of the ebook inside the opf file from rtl to ltr or vice versa.

Changing: <spine toc="ncx" page-progression-direction="rtl">
to: <spine toc="ncx">

2) Remove xhtmls files for multiple ePubs based on the name of the xhtml. For instance: I don't want the xhtml file "Last-Chapter.xhtml" from all the ePubs I have. So removing it automatically from all of them without opening them one by one manually on calibre editor.

3) Change the html files inside the ePub to be as xhtml, I mean when the epub is opened on caliber editor the files should be as xhtml and not html.
Our reader (SkyEpub) will not show html files correctly on Android.

P.S. I installed the plugin "Modify ePub" and it was so helpful in many thing (e.g.: removing fonts...etc.) but couldn't find the 3 features mentioned above. Maybe they can be added inside it, it is open source.

I work at a start-up company, and we need this plugin to be done as soon as possible. This task will be charged.

I understand the request. I don't understand the WHY?

Your reading device is broken? (does not understand "page progression' )

You are wanting to 'strip' a section from the book that may leave the book 'incomplete'

No, My reader does not understand page progression, it forces it to be from right to left because it is for Arabic ebooks. But when we insert an epub with the code <spine toc="ncx" page-progression-direction="rtl">, it creates an white page on the end of every chapter on iOS devices, and I do not want this issue. that's why I want it to be <spine toc="ncx">.

SkyEpub is the software development company, it produces an Android/IOS EPUB2/3 Reader.

I suggest Bilal gets a SkyDev developer to create a 'private' version of the Modify plugin. If he/she posts questions in the development forum they will get all the help they need from Kovid and other PI developers - including some who are are very familiar with Modify.

While I don't disagree with having the option to do this sort of change, you really should get the problem fixed at the source. If the reader is mishandling the setting of the page-progression-direction in the way you describe, it should be fixed there.

The reader is a closed SDK, it's very hard to change anything in it at this moment.
