Amazon is so weird. I get their daily "kindle deals" email but for some inexplicable reason this book is left off the list. If I have to go check their site to get the COMPLETE list of sale books what good is the email?

There are often more than the ones in the email -- sometimes a LOT more. I don't even really look at the email -- just click the link through to the site.

Yep. Today’s email, for example, says “Browse today's Kindle Daily Deal and save more than 70% on 3 titles, including The Children Act by Ian McEwan, Toward the Sea of Freedom by Sarah Lark and Solitude by Dean M Cole.” Note the word “including”: it’s telling you that the list may not be complete.

Look at it from their perspective. If there is nothing on that email that interests you, then you aren't likely to go to their web site. However, if you know that they don't put EVERYTHING in that eMail, you are far more likely to go to their website anyway.

The Fountains of Paradise by Arthur C. Clarke is $1.99 at Amazon.

Clarke's books go on sale fairly often and I grab them when the price drops. I don't have this one yet, so it's been a while since it was on sale last (or I missed it).

I think it's self published (or very small press anyway) and I haven't read it. But the reviews and synopsis are good and the cover grabbed me. Metal Chest by Chris Yee is $0.99.

The Hatching Trilogy omnibus by Ezekiel Boone is on pre-order (August 2019) at New Zealand retailers for $13.99, which is less than the price of one of the individual books in the trilogy.

This looks like it could be a pricing error, perhaps the pre-order will be cancelled before release date.
