Calibre Server for Windows and SSL

I would like to add SSL certificate to calibre server? I use dynu.com for free domain name and was planning to use letsencrypt for an SSL cert Is there a straightforward step by step guide to do this? .... Sorry I know there are a lot of experts here... not me |

Ok, thanks Sorry I am new to certificates. I wanted to secure the calibre server. I just setup lestencrypt with WINACME on my windows machine. After some pain I was able to create certificates. However letsencrypt doesnt let you export the private key (only public) I assume this is the end of the store for me ? |

@DNSB, it must be a different process. I have a windows machine and used WINACME which basically loaded the credential on Windows Cert Manager directly. From that point, you can export but when I tried Cert Manager complained that the certificate is marked not to allow export.

You need to export the certificate and private key as files in the PEM format, then they will work with the server.

You generate the CSR using dedicated software or your providers web interface, not in calibre.
