Wish I could. I'm dizzy and in pain still, but I just found out that I have no hot water, and the porch must be cleaned today because Evil Developer is having a party tomorrow.

I don't get it. What's the correlation between your porch and the Evil Developer's party? Can the ED see your porch from the party location?

Oh, and sorry about the hot water. Calling in the plumber?

To you photographers: Just heard a news tidbit about some guy who is implanting a camera into his prosthetic eye. Eeuuww.

Called the plumber.

About the Evil Developer .... my porch got rather messy while I was doing my building projects, including making the printer table for my neighbor.

So, Evil Developer is having some sort of "party" for people he wants to invest in the development. What I would really love to do is put a big sign out on the lawn that says "Whatever you do do NOT invest here!!" ... but, alas I cannot.

Anyway, the Evil Developer wants the whole place to be all clean and nice so that he can show his potential investors what a good investment this particular piece of real estate is (.... no, I'm not kidding .... there are people out there who still think real estate is just a great investment at the moment).

I'm chock full of drugs, dragging plywood over the lawn to put in the garage (which I need to clean as well so I have somewhere to put the stuff on the porch). I've fallen over several times ... and I'm going to need to run the chop saw and some other power tools in order to get the job done. Not a good idea while drugged, but you do what you have to do.

And, before you ask me where all those neighbors that I've done favors for are when I need them to help me .... the answer is, I don't know and I don't care.

Must go .... I have to walk the doggies and then try to finish up this ginormous cleaning job before dark.

You should put the old car out in the front lawn up on blocks so that the investors know that they are still in Texas...

Can't you put a big sign inside your house & leave the window curtains / blinds open ?
