Yes, this was last year's deal limited to Prime members WITHOUT a current Audible membership.

I'm a bit confused. Don't most audible special offers require you NOT be a current member? I got the annual gold plan when it was 1/3 off an I've been pleased with it but will not renew in August at full price. I thought I would have to drop audible until another annual discount popped up.

Yes. And there seems to be a lag until you can take advantage of another special offer, but mileage is all over the place on that one.

Also bizarre is that on the Silver plan you can roll over six credits, but on the Gold you can roll over only five.

Sorry that my mention of Prime Day created some confusion. I meant that by the time July rolls around, I will probably have used up my credits and canceled my Audible membership--just in time to renew it if there's a Prime Day offer.

I have the Gold and yes, you can roll over six credits.
I'll be cancelling before the next billing cycle, and will wait until the next great deal. I have lots of unlistened books to tide me over (drat that Whispersync!).

I went to cancel yesterday, and was not offered the Silver level. However, I was offered 3 months at $7.49. So I took it, though that is a lot.

You really got it for $14 even? I've always seen it as in AO's screenshot, closer to $15, same as gold.

And speaking of AO's screenshot, I never realized you could both attach AND imbed an image! It's not even 7am and I already learned something new......

I think that offer only comes up if you try to cancel; I didn't try that because I had unused credits I didn't want to lose.

I don't know how to attach OR embed an image. But as my copy-and-paste shows, my account details say my Silver membership is $14 every other month.

I never saw anything like that screenshot. When I initially looked at switching plans a few weeks back, the Silver offer was one of the plans that came up, along with the usual monthly and annual plans (in a series of side-by-side boxes). It definitely said $14 then--I know because it surprised me that it was less per credit than the usual $14.95. (I didn't follow through then because I still had too many credits to roll over.)

When I did the chat yesterday, I said I wanted the Silver plan I'd seen for $14 every other month, and that's what I got. It's baffling that AnemicOak's offer is for $14.98 instead.
