I’ve been cancelled for about a month, and no joy here. At least, when I try it, Alexa says that she’ll start my one credit membership, and I imagine she’ll say something about 2 or 4 credits if it works.

I activated the offer using my Echo device by saying "Alexa, start my Audible trial." I received only one credit (not four) and was charged $14.95 for membership (no free trial). I was able to get the charge reversed by contacting Audible, but it was a bit of a hassle.

When they ran this offer before Alexa mentioned two credits when signing up, but you'd have four credits in your account after sign up. So if it's going to work it should mention two credits I'd guess. As always is the case if you've had memberships before it's YMMV.

Did the email say how many audiobooks are in their catalog?

I prematurely (long before the membership was scheduled to end ) ended my "ListenerLight" membership (yeah, I know, it doesn't make sense. But it sure did feel good). It seemed that I almost never was eligible for a sale. I'm "sure" that I wouldn't have been on this one.

Not once have I regretted my decision to cut Audible loose. Not once.
