Nicely Done Booklets, Teaching Children about Healthy Eating, Courtesy of the GPO.
I read one time that the U.S. Government is the largest publisher in the world, or some other, similar superlative. Wouldn't be surprised. And many, if not most of their booklets, pamphlets, etc. are free to the public.

Of course, their publications generally have to do with the welfare of the public--health and those kinds of things.

Do you remember when we used to have to fill out a form to "Consumer Something-or_Another" in Pueblo, Colorado, snail-mail it, and have to wait until a few weeks later to get the government publication(s)? Well, those days are over, at least for the most part. Now, many, if not most of Uncle Sam's publications are available by near-instantaneous digital downloads.

Here is a septet of free ebooks from the U.S Government Printing Office (GPO) that might help your child to grow up to eat healthier than they would have. The books are designed for the child, not the parent, and are on the children's level. They're really well done.

Force of Chaos: The Coming of Age of the Antichrist is on .99 at Amazon Kindle US and UK. I've read this one and really enjoyed it! YA about the antichrist at 15, rebelling against the role set out for him. I always wondered why Damian didn't do that in Omen II.

The latest book in the Young Lions books seems to be free at Amazon UK at present. I enjoyed the first book and made it through the second and third. I think probably YA is the right category as some of the story telling rankled me but not a bad yarn based in an alternative England where Germany succeeded in invading but failed to capture the whole UK.

Anyway the free book is Young Lions feast

Strangely the first book in the series seems to be unavailable as a kindle book but is available in paperback.
