kindle pw4 how put and play mp3´s??

i have an new kindle pw4 (i guess)

how can i put mp3´s on it and hear without audible...???

You can't. That Kindle only supports Audible files.

And as far as I can tell, there are no third party tools to convert to Audible format. ACX (Audible self-publishing platform) does not seem to offer such a tool either (you submit audio and if it passes quality and other checks, it goes directly to Audible/Amazon/iTunes store).

The Kindles that support Audible also require Bluetooth headphones as they have no speakers or headphone jack. I would imagine music would sound horrible. Not sure why anyone would want to use them for that purpose. Not with smart phones, tablets, and MP3 players.

Why do you assume audio would sound horrible?

Even if you could convert MP3 to audible format, you can't read and listen at the same time. When you use the audible feature, it takes over the screen. You can't have a book open at the same time.

As anyone who's been using Kindles for a while will recall, they did at one point have the ability to play MP3s, and they were an absolutely dreadful MP3 player

. If you want to play MP3 files, use your phone.

Why were they dreadful, sound quality, UX, ...?

Sound quality and functionality. At that time, of course, the Kindle had (extremely small) speakers for TTS, and they were OK for voice, but not up to playing music at all. The UI was awful, too!

I remember putting a couple of MP3's on my 2nd gen Kindle, just to try it out. As mentioned, the little speakers weren't kind to music. It was very tinny and harsh.
