Vadas
The club named Daimio sat just within the city limits. The border lot displayed a vast assortment of vehicles. Celic raced across the pavement and glided through the double doors. Once inside, he located a dark corner for his continued search. The spacious one-story structure overflowed with patrons. Dancers, clad in long purple robes of silk, cruised around the room dipping and grinding to an alternative beat. The vampire noted the activities with a casual scan. His singular objective, the man he chased inside, needed to be found.
Vadas is a vampire novel It will be released in April by Wild Child Publishing It has several plots. Witches seeking his bite Witches seeking to help him A young man out for revenge Deception Creatures A ex-girlfriend who craves his return to her arms. |

The Money Suckers
"Two men watched from the shadows as a lone, very well dressed man untied his yacht from the dock and turned toward the helm. The two men crept quietly through the misty morning air to another waiting boat as the lone man started his yacht's engine and slowly backed away from the dock. He headed the yacht out of the harbor through the gloomy haze. His shadows quickly and quietly boarded the other boat."

@hogleg -
I broke MR and can't quote your quote for some reason....but I am in love with PA stories. I want more, it's like a drug. My only suggestion for it would be some tightening and tweaks here and there. The prose is a bit purple and tell-y (that's a word now. Yes. I made it up.) I would suggest an almost ZOOM IN type style of everything. Personally, I try to make every word count and only use as much description as neccessary to get the point across or the image in the head. I like to keep things a bit briefer and let the reader draw their own picture. |
