My new Fire tablet is supposed to arrive by 9 p.m. today; it was shipped just before 5 p.m. today (with two other orders for which I selected no-rush delivery). Think I'll get it on time?

P.S. Amazon is now showing that my tablet still going to arrive within the next 22 minutes; however, somehow the other two items in the same package now show delivery by Tuesday. That will be an interesting trick.

Am I annoyed? Yes.

It took some arm twisting, a trip to Target to show my mother the Echo Dot 3 and then almost an hour for a Live Chat with Amazon (with two different reps) but they are going to allow me to return the refurbished Echo Dot 2 and credit me the amount it cost. And I will order them an Echo Dot 3. At first they were like you can trade it in for $5 off the cost. As I was sure my aunt paid more than $5 I insisted I would have her return it.

The Target website says they're all out for shipping and since the Kohls didn't stack with the 15% etc I'll just order it from Amazon direct.

For many stores, today is the last day for BF pricing. For others, it's Sunday; and still others, it's Monday.

That said, Cyber Monday has already started for some stores. For others, it's Sunday; and still others, it's Monday.

You need a scorecard to keep track of who's doing what

Ok guys, quick question, sorta Black Friday related.
I have a Fire 7 tablet. I want to trade it in. I DO NOT care about the cash back, only the 25% off that is suppose to be applicable to another device.
1. Will the 25% off be available immediately, or will I have to wait till the old Fire is mailed in, checked, etc?
2. Can I use the 25% off on the Fire 10 while it is on sale for $99? I thought I saw that some people had done this, but the lady at Amazon said I couldn't.

Yes, you will get both the gift card and the 25 percent off immediately. Once you complete the trade-in request, when you add the Fire 10 to your cart, the 25 percent off will be automatically applied at checkout.

I traded in my Fire 7 for a Fire 10--which just arrived, I'm setting it up now!

And after contacting them 3 different times and spending almost 3 hours on with them I still couldn't get the 25% off. So I just canceled the order.

Did you trade in another tablet earlier? It's apparently one to a customer.

I did the tablet trade-in a few weeks back, in anticipation of Black Friday, and the discount was immediate--I didn't complete the checkout process then; I waited to make sure there wouldn't be a better BF deal.

I traded in my Dot 2 on Thursday, and that was also immediate; I got a $5 gift card and 25 percent off, which I applied to a Dot 3.

I can't understand why it's not working for you, unless you already traded in a different tablet.
