I have no idea. Black Friday is primarily an American shopping event, but has gained popularity in some international markets in recent years. Keep your fingers crossed.

If anyone is looking for micro SD memory cards, I noticed that Amazon has Samsung 64 GB for 10.99 and 128 GB for $19.99 right now. That's the lowest I've ever seen. I have no idea if this is a black Friday thing, or just a random price change.

These are very good SD cards and cheap too! I bought the 128 in June for $36.99. Oh well, I needed it then, but don't need it now.

I don't like that without the special offers, you can only get black. I figure I'll get the blue one and then pay to remove the offers--I have them on my 7-inch and they ARE annoying.

I'm still waiting on ordering, though.

Apologies if it's been posted but Best Buy in Canada will have the Kobo Clara HD for $109 on Black Friday. (and maybe that whole week)

Well my hopes for a new desktop computer this year are fading fast - I'm not seeing much discounting at all in higher-end systems, and video cards are still sky high...

Overall, this year is very disappointing. Not much in the way of great buys in any of the categories. With Sears and Kmart about to bite the dust, they're not offering any electronics this year.

With each passing year, eReaders are really feeling the pinch as fewer retailers are offering any deals on them. Outside of the brand owners, only one retailer (Best Buy) is offering a deal on an eReader and it's for the Paperwhite 3 (last year's model). So sad. The eReader market is getting smaller and smaller.

I think I'll get a new Echo Dot 3 ($24) and call it a successful Black Friday for me

I saw the $25 Dot at Best Buy - will Amazon have it too? I'm only seeing it in bundles with other devices.

The only other thing I'm considering is the Netgear Nighthawk AC2600 router for $99 at Walmart, but I'm reluctant because Netgear has newer and better models that don't seem to be on sale anywhere...

Yes, quite a few stores are selling the Dot 3 for $24. Go to the first page of this thread and look under Media Players. Then check the sub-categories for the stores. Everything's linked.

Beware Best Buy. They have a habit of adding $0.99 to their sale items. All of the other stores are selling the Dot 3 for $24. Not so Best Buy, they're selling it for $24.99. That's always been a pet peeve of mine.

Edit: if you shop at Kohl's, they're selling the Dot 3 for $24 and you can get 15% off your entire order (one-time use only), plus $15 in Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent. Check the Kohl's BF post for details.

Figures. I bought it at BB (early access) because they offer the Amazon plug with it for $5. I assume the way it works is you can activate whatever is plugged into the "special" plug via alexa. I can't recall why I thought that was a good idea.
